Dr. Adhithya Mullath Ullas

Dr. Adhithya is a researcher and healthcare professional with a focus on precision medicine and nutrition in complex diseases like diabetes. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) and a Master's in Diabetes Research, providing her with a solid foundation in both clinical and research expertise. 

Her main interest is in understanding how factors like genetics, microbiome, and lifestyle can shape health outcomes in individuals with diabetes mellitus, especially in people from under-represented or minority ethnic groups. She believes that one-size-fits-all approaches to nutrition and healthcare don’t work for everyone and personalized, data-driven solutions are the way forward.

She has worked on projects like diabetic retinopathy detection using AI and developed machine learning models for diabetes prediction using Pima Indians dataset. These experiences have reinforced her belief that integrating technology in healthcare can make a real difference.
