Other Medications To Avoid With This Medicine

Ambroxol + Guaiphenesin can interact with antibiotics like erythromycin, doxycycline, cefuroxime, and amoxicillin. It can also interact with medicines with antitussive effects (for example, codeine-contained agents for cough) 

Overdose and Missed Dose

• An overdose of this medicine may cause effects like nausea, vomiting, flush throat, and gastric/abdominal pain. If you detect an overdose of this medicine, inform your doctor and follow the advice accordingly.
• If you forget to take this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. But avoid repeating the dose.

• Avoid dairy products like milk, which can increase mucus. Avoid processed and refined foods. 
• Instead, swap baked goods, fried foods, white bread, white pasta, sugary desserts, and chips for green leafy vegetables. 
• Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of fluids to prevent a dry throat and help loosen mucus. 
• Skip citrus fruits, as they can exacerbate coughing. Opt for fruits with high water content, such as pears, watermelon, peaches, and pineapples.
