Contraindications

• Caffeine + Levocetirizine + Paracetamol/Acetaminophen + Phenylephrine combination medicine is contraindicated in patients who have an allergy to caffeine, paracetamol, phenylephrine, levocetirizine or any other components of this medicine. It should not be used by individuals with certain medical conditions, such as severe heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, liver or kidney disease, glaucoma, overactive thyroid, or difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland.

Other Medications to Avoid

• Caffeine + Levocetirizine + Paracetamol/Acetaminophen + Phenylephrine may interact with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (eg., phenelzine and selegiline), beta-blockers (eg., atenolol and metoprolol), diuretics (eg., furosemide and hydrochlorothiazide), antidepressants (eg., fluoxetine and sertraline), and anticoagulants (eg., warfarin).

Overdose and Missed Dose

• Overdose symptoms may include nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, sweating, convulsions, irregular heartbeat, and potential coma. In the event of an overdose, seek immediate medical help.
• If a dose is missed, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is close to the time for the next dose, skip the missed dose; do not double the dose to catch up.
