• Adults can take it only when prescribed by a doctor.

Contraindications

• It is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to Dapoxetine, patients having heart conditions, bleeding or clotting disorder, epilepsy, mental health problems like bipolar disorder, depression, or mania; glaucoma, liver diseases, and tendency to faint.

Other Medications To Avoid With This Medicine

•  Avoid taking antipsychotic medications (benzodiazepines), anticoagulant medications (acenocoumarol), cancer medications (abemaciclib), antidiabetic medications (acarbose), antihypertensives (beta-blockers such as acebutolol), and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (aceclofenac). These medications may alter the safety and effectiveness of this medication.

Overdose and Missed Dose

• In case of accidental overdose, consult your doctor if you experience severe side effects or worsening of any of the symptoms. Strict adherence to the prescribed dose is essential.
• You are unlikely to miss a dose of this medicine as it is to be taken only when needed.

Management of Side Effects

• If you experience dizziness, leave the bed slowly, resting your feet on the floor for a few minutes before standing up. Avoid doing any task that requires mental coordination till the side effects subside. If side effects worsen or persist, consult your doctor for a possible treatment plan adjustment.

Use In Driving And Operating Machinery

• This medicine can cause dizziness and lightheadedness. It is not recommended to drive, operate machinery, or do other activities that require mental alertness or coordination after taking this medicine. 

Use in Pregnancy and Lactation

• This medication is not recommended for females.

Caution in Other Conditions

• This medicine is not recommended in the elderly due to the risk of heart, liver, or kidney issues.

Special Dietary & Lifestyle Recommendation

• This medicine can enhance the sedative effects of alcohol, leading to increased drowsiness and impairment of cognitive function. It is advisable to limit or avoid alcohol consumption while taking this medication.
• Do not take grapefruit juice with this medication as it can increase the amount of Dapoxetine in the bloodstream.
