This medicine should be avoided in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide, in patients of bronchial asthma having asthmatic cough, persistent or chronic cough, as occurs with smoking, asthma or lung disease known as emphysema, productive cough, respiratory failure or are at risk of developing respiratory failure.
This medicine is an antittussive and is used to suppress cough.
