• Dextropropoxyphene + Nimesulide + Paracetamol/Acetaminophen is available for oral administration in the form of tablets.

Age and Dose Restrictions

• This combination medicine is suitable for adults and children above 12 years of age.

Contraindications

• This medicine is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the active ingredients: Dextropropoxyphene, Nimesulide, or Paracetamol/Acetaminophen.
• It is also contraindicated in patients with severe respiratory depression, acute or severe bronchial asthma, paralytic ileus, severe hepatic impairment, severe renal impairment, and active peptic ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding.

Other Medications to Avoid

• This combination may interact with benzodiazepines (such as diazepam and alprazolam), other opioids (like morphine and fentanyl), antipsychotics (including clozapine and olanzapine), and CYP2D6 and CYP3A4 inhibitors (such as fluoxetine and ketoconazole).

Overdose and Missed Dose

• An overdose of this medication may cause respiratory depression, extreme somnolence progressing to stupor or coma, skeletal muscle flaccidity, cold and clammy skin, hypotension, bradycardia, liver damage, renal failure, coma, and even death. Immediate medical attention is needed.
• If you forget to take your prescribed dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. However if it is near the time for your next dose then skip the missed dose. Do not double up to make up for a missed dose.

Management of Side Effects

Most side effects are temporary and generally harmless and resolve when discontinuing this medicine. However, if you experience any severe side effects or worsening of any of the symptoms, please consult your doctor.

• Drinking plenty of fluids may help with some side effects like constipation and dry mouth.
• Taking this medicine after a meal may help reduce gastrointestinal side effects like nausea and abdominal pain.

Use in Driving and Operating Machinery

• This medication may cause dizziness, drowsiness or impair your alertness. Avoid driving or operating heavy machinery if you experience these effects.

Use in Pregnancy and Lactation

• The use of Dextropropoxyphene + Nimesulide + Paracetamol/Acetaminophen during pregnancy and breastfeeding is not recommended unless prescribed by a doctor. Always consult your doctor before starting any medication during pregnancy or lactation.

Caution in Other Conditions

• Patients with liver or kidney disease, respiratory conditions, history of medication abuse or addiction, and patients with a history of gastrointestinal disorders should exercise caution when taking this medication.
