Formoterol Fumarate + Mometasone is a combination medicine used for asthma management and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) control.
Formoterol Fumarate is a long-acting beta-2 agonist. It works by relaxing the muscles in the airways and widening them. This allows more air to flow in and out of the lungs, improving breathing.
Mometasone is a synthetic corticosteroid. It acts by reducing inflammation and swelling in the airways, making them less sensitive and less likely to react to asthma triggers.
