• Wash your hands frequently and correctly.
• Clean cuts, scrapes, wounds, or insect bites promptly.
• Cover skin infections with a bandage after cleaning and drying the skin.
• Avoid direct contact with the skin of a person with an infection.
• Dispose of used gloves and bandages in the trash.
• Refrain from sharing items like towels, soap bars, razors, clothing, or toys.
• Clean any shared bedding or toys regularly.
