• L Methyl Folate + Methylcobalamin + Pyridoxal 5 Phosphate can be taken orally (available as tablet, capsule, and syrup).

Age And Dose Restrictions

• This combination is meant to be used for adults only. It is not recommended for children.

Contraindications 

• It is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to L Methyl Folate or Methylcobalamin or Pyridoxal 5 Phosphate.

Medications To Avoid With This Drug 

• Avoid taking anticonvulsants (carbamazepine), medications for Parkinson’s disease (levodopa), antibiotics (amoxicillin), bile acid sequestrants (cholestyramine), anti-diabetic medications (metformin), anticoagulants (warfarin), and antimetabolites (methotrexate). These medications may alter the safety and effectiveness of this combination.

Overdose And Missed Dose

• If an overdose occurs and leads to severe side effects or worsening of any of the symptoms, it needs to be managed as an emergency in a hospital setting. Therefore, strict adherence to the prescribed dose is essential.
• If you miss a dose of this combination, take it as soon as you remember. But, if the next dose is near, skip the missed dose and resume the regular dosing regime.

• It is unlikely to impair the mental alertness or coordination required while driving.

Use In Pregnancy And Lactation

• Caution is advised during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Caution In Other Conditions

• Caution is advised in older adults and in patients having liver or kidney disease, coronary artery disease, and malabsorption syndrome.

• Keep your blood sugar levels within the target range for preventing and managing neuropathy.
• Limit your sugary and processed foods intake, as they can spike your blood sugar levels.
• Alcohol can cause further damage to nerves, so limit your alcohol consumption or avoid it.
• Check your feet daily for wounds, cuts, or blisters, as neuropathy can reduce sensation and increase the risk of foot problems.
