• This medicine is intended to be used in adults only. It is not recommended for children under 18 years of age.

Contraindications 

• It is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to Linezolid, patients with low immunity, anemia, a history of seizures/fits, diarrhoea, and people who tend to bleed easily (bruising).

Other Medications To Avoid With This Medicine

• Avoid taking cold or flu medications (phenylpropanolamine, pseudoephedrine), asthma medicines (salbutamol, terbutaline), antidepressants (amitriptyline), medications for migraine (sumatriptan), medications for allergy (adrenaline), medications which increase blood pressure (epinephrine), painkillers (pethidine), anti-anxiety medications (buspirone), and antibiotics (rifampicin) with Linezolid. These medications may alter the safety and effectiveness of Linezolid.

Overdose And Missed Dose

• If you accidentally take an excessive amount of this medicine, it is essential to get immediate medical attention from your doctor or nearby hospital in case you experience severe side effects or worsening of any of the side effects.
• If you miss a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. But, if the next dose is near, skip the missed dose and resume the regular dosing regime.
