Contraindications

• Lopinavir + Ritonavir is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any ingredients in the medication.

Other Medications to Avoid

• Lopinavir + Ritonavir may interact with certain drugs known as potent CYP3A inducers. These include medications such as herbal products (like St. John's wort), antifungal agents (like ketoconazole and itraconazole), and calcium channel blockers (like diltiazem and amlodipine).
• This medication may also interact with other antiretroviral agents (like abacavir, dolutegravir, and lamivudine) used to manage HIV infection; therefore, consultation with a doctor is crucial before starting any new medications.

Overdose and Missed Dose

• Overdosing on Lopinavir + Ritonavir may lead to increased severity of side effects such as diarrhoea, nausea, abdominal pain, and headache. If you suspect an overdose, please consult your doctor immediately.
