Contraindications

• The medicine is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to either Metronidazole or Norfloxacin. It should not be used in patients with severe hepatic impairment. The combination medication should not be given to patients who have taken disulfiram within the last two weeks.

Other Medications to Avoid

• Metronidazole + Norfloxacin may interact with class Ia/III antiarrhythmics (such as quinidine and amiodarone), anticoagulants (like warfarin), and oral hypoglycemics (like glibenclamide).

Overdose and Missed Dose

• An overdose of Metronidazole + Norfloxacin can lead to symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, dizziness, tremors, and seizures. If you suspect an overdose, seek immediate medical help.

• If you miss a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is close to the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule.

• For gastrointestinal issues such as nausea or vomiting, it may help to take Metronidazole + Norfloxacin with food.

Use in Driving and Operating Machinery
