Keto-B Lotion is used for the following:

• Addressing candidiasis, a yeast infection that can affect various parts of the body

To use Keto-B Lotion correctly, follow these steps:

• Ensure your hands and the affected area are clean and dry.

• Apply a thin layer of the lotion to the affected area.

• Gently massage it into your skin until it is fully absorbed.

• Wash your hands after application unless you are treating a hand infection.

• Consult your doctor for specific advice on duration and frequency of use.

Keto-B Lotion is applied topically.

Keto-B Lotion combines two active ingredients:

• Ketoconazole (2%): As a broad-spectrum imidazole antifungal, ketoconazole inhibits the synthesis of ergosterol – a critical component of the fungal cell membrane. This action alters the membrane structure and permeability, leading to fungal cell death.

• Beclomethasone Dipropionate (0.025%): This potent corticosteroid has anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, and vasoconstrictive actions. It works by suppressing the release of inflammation-causing chemicals in your body. It also reduces capillary dilation, edema, and itching.

When applied topically, these two medicines penetrate the skin layers. While ketoconazole eliminates the fungal infection, beclomethasone dipropionate reduces the associated inflammatory symptoms.
