Solfe Tablet can interact with medications, including:

• Anticonvulsants such as phenobarbital, phenytoin, and primidone. The blood concentrations of these medicines can be reduced in the presence of this tablet.
• Antibiotics such as tetracyclines, quinolones and chloramphenicol. Iron can reduce the absorption of these antibiotics. Take them 2 hours before or 2 hours after this tablet.
• Antacids such as aluminium oxide. It can impair the absorption of this tablet.
• Proton pump inhibitors such as omeprazole. It can impair the absorption of this tablet.
• Thyroid medications such as levothryoxine. This tablet may reduce the efficacy of thyroxine.

The following foods should be avoided at the same time as you take Solfe Tablet:

• Dairy products: Taking this tablet with dairy products can decrease the effectiveness of this tablet.
• Caffeine-containing coffee and tea: Taking this tablet with caffeine-containing coffee and tea can decrease the effectiveness of this tablet.
• Whole grains: Taking this tablet with whole grains can decrease the effectiveness of this tablet.

Solfe Tablet can interact with diseases, including:

• Stomach ulcer: This tablet contains elemental iron, which may irritate the stomach lining. Individuals with a stomach ulcer or a history of gastric issues should use this medication cautiously.
• Gastrointestinal bleeding: Iron supplementation can contribute to gastrointestinal irritation and, in some cases, may exacerbate or cause bleeding in the gastrointestinal tract. 
• Blood disease such as hemolytic anaemia (a condition with an abnormally low number of red blood cells): Individuals with hemolytic anaemia, a condition characterised by the premature destruction of red blood cells, should exercise caution when taking iron supplementation. 

Take the recommended dose of Solfe Tablet as your doctor directs. The dosage may change based on individual factors such as the severity of the condition and response to treatment. It is important to follow the prescribed dosage and not exceed it without consulting your doctor. 

If you take an excessive amount of Solfe Tablet by accident, it is essential to take immediate medical attention from your doctor or nearby hospital. Symptoms of an overdose include stomach pain, nausea, diarrhoea, black stools, and hypotension.

If you forgot to take the Solfe Tablet, take it as soon as you remember. If the time for the next dosage is close, skipping the missed one is recommended now and resuming your regular dosage pattern. Never increase your dosage without consulting your doctor.
