Utiof Tablet is used for the following:

• Prevention of recurrent urinary tract infections (UTIs) in individuals prone to them.

• Prophylactic approach in individuals with a history of frequent UTIs to minimise the risk of recurrence.

Here's how you should take Utiof Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Avoid crushing or chewing the tablet.

• Follow the dosage as recommended by your doctor.

• Don't exceed the advised dose without your doctor's guidance.

• It's crucial not to stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor first.

Utiof Tablet is taken orally.

Utiof Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Cranberry Extract (300 mg): Cranberries are known for their high content of A-type proanthocyanidins (PACs). These PACs help in preventing certain strains of E. coli bacteria from sticking to the lining of the urinary tract. By doing so, cranberry extract aids in reducing the risk of UTIs.

• D-Mannose (600 mg): This is a type of simple sugar that our body does not significantly metabolize. When consumed, most D-mannose swiftly passes into urine. In the urinary tract, D-mannose can bind itself to E. coli bacteria, inhibiting them from adhering to the walls of the urinary tract and helping their elimination through urination.

• Store Utiof Tablet in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight.

• The optimum storage temperature is below 25 degrees Celsius.

• Keep the tablets in their original packaging until you need to use them.

• Always keep this medication out of reach of children.

• Be sure to use Utiof Tablet before its expiry date.

• Drink plenty of water daily to help flush out bacteria from the urinary tract and reduce the risk of urinary tract infections (UTIs).

• Include cranberries in your diet, either as fresh fruit, juice or dried snacks, as they contain compounds that can prevent UTIs.
