• Before handling the eye drop bottle, wash your hands with soap and water to prevent contamination.
• Sit or stand in a well-lit area, and tilt your head back slightly to prepare for the drops.
• With one hand, gently pull down your lower eyelid to create a small pocket. Hold the dropper close to your eye without touching it.
• Squeeze the bottle gently to release one drop into the pocket created by your lower eyelid. Try not to blink immediately after applying the drop.
• Close your eye gently and press lightly on the inner corner of your eye (near the nose) for about one minute. This prevents the drops from draining into your tear duct too quickly.
• If you need more than one drop, wait a few minutes before applying the next drop to allow the first drop to absorb.
• Use a clean tissue to gently dab any excess liquid around your eye, being careful not to rub.
• Close the bottle tightly to keep the drops sterile for future use. Store the bottle in a cool, dry place as instructed on the packaging.
