Candid Dusting Powder 250gm is used for managing the following conditions:

• Athlete's foot, a fungal infection that usually starts between the toes

• Jock itch, an infection in the groin area

• Ringworm, a common skin infection caused by fungus

• Candidiasis, also known as yeast infection

• Pityriasis versicolor, a condition causing discoloured patches on the skin

• Clean and dry the affected area before application.

• Apply a thin layer of the powder over and slightly beyond the infected area.

• Gently tap the powder into your skin without rubbing too hard.

• Use the medicine as advised by your doctor.

• Remember to wash your hands thoroughly after each application.

Candid Dusting Powder 250gm contains clotrimazole (1%) as the active ingredient. It works on the human skin in the following manner:

• Clotrimazole works by blocking the production of ergosterol, a substance critical for maintaining the structure of fungal cell membranes.

• By inhibiting ergosterol synthesis, clotrimazole damages the fungus's cell membrane. This disruption prevents the fungus's growth and spread and eventually leads to its death.

• Store Candid Dusting Powder 250gm in its original packaging at room temperature.

• Keep it away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture.
