Demelan Cream 20gm

Demelan Cream is used for managing the following conditions:

• Hyperpigmentation and dark patches due to sun damage, ageing, or hormonal changes.

• Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation resulting from skin disorders like acne and eczema.

• Uneven skin tone and dullness.

• Fine lines, wrinkles, and rough skin texture.

To use Demelan Cream, follow these simple steps:

• Cleanse your skin thoroughly and pat dry before applying the cream.

• Apply a thin layer of the cream on the affected areas once or twice daily, as per your doctor's advice.

• Gently massage the cream into your skin until it's fully absorbed.

• Always use an SPF 30 or higher sunscreen during the day as this cream can increase your skin's sensitivity to sunlight.

Demelan Cream is applied topically.

Demelan Cream consists of three active ingredients:

• Glycolic Acid (10%): Derived from sugarcane, glycolic acid can penetrate the skin easily and exfoliate dead skin cells from the surface. This process improves skin texture, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, promotes cell turnover and also disperses melanin granules in the epidermis for a mild skin-lightening effect.

• Arbutin (5%): Arbutin plays a key role in managing hyperpigmentation by inhibiting tyrosinase, an enzyme responsible for the production of melanin. This action helps reduce melanin synthesis leading to a lightening effect on dark spots.

• Kojic Acid (2%): Kojic acid reduces melanin production by inhibiting tyrosinase activity. It also possesses antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that protect the skin from damage caused by free radicals and reduce redness and irritation.

• Store Demelan Cream at a steady room temperature, below 25°C.

• Keep it in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.

• Ensure the container is sealed tightly when not in use.

• Keep it out of reach of children.

• As Demelan Cream is used to manage skin hyperpigmentation, try to limit your sun exposure. When you do have to be out in the sun, always wear a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30.

• Incorporate antioxidant-rich foods like berries, spinach, and nuts into your diet. These foods are known to promote skin health and may help enhance your complexion.
