Diclogesic Gel 30gm

Diclogesic Gel 30gm can be used for managing the following conditions:

• Relieving minor aches and discomfort in muscles and joints related to arthritis.

• Providing relief from backache that is not severe.

• Assisting in managing strains, which are muscle or tendon injuries.

• Helping in dealing with bruises, which are skin discolourations due to blood vessels breaking beneath the skin surface.

• Aiding in managing sprains, and injuries to ligaments caused by twisting or pulling.

To use Diclogesic Gel 30gm properly, follow these instructions:

• Ensure the affected area is clean and dry before applying the gel.

• Apply a thin layer of the gel to the painful area.

• Gently massage the gel into your skin until fully absorbed.

• Wash your hands thoroughly after applying unless you're treating your hands.

• Avoid using on wounds or damaged or irritated skin; do not bandage tightly or apply heat after application.

Diclogesic Gel 30gm is applied topically.

Diclogesic Gel 30gm comprises five active ingredients which work together to provide pain relief:

• Diclofenac Diethylamine (1.16%): This ingredient is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by reducing the production of prostaglandins - chemicals that cause pain and inflammation.

• Methyl Salicylate (10%): Another NSAID, methyl salicylate, inhibits prostaglandin production. It's easily absorbed through the skin, and its cooling and warming sensations help alleviate pain.

• Linseed Oil (3%): Linseed oil acts as a carrier that lets other active ingredients penetrate better through the skin. It also has anti-inflammatory properties.

• Menthol (5%): Menthol produces a cooling sensation at first by stimulating TRPM8 receptors and then creates a warming sensation that distracts from the pain.

• Capsaicin (0.025%): Derived from chilli peppers, capsaicin initially causes a burning sensation by activating TRPV1 pain receptors. Over time, it reduces substance P - a neurotransmitter that sends pain signals to the brain - leading to less sensitivity of these receptors.

• Store Diclogesic Gel 30gm at room temperature, not exceeding 30°C.

• Do not freeze.

• Protect from direct sunlight and heat.

• Keep the product away from areas where it may get moist.

• Always store this medicine out of reach of children.

• For managing arthritis, include foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids such as flaxseeds and walnuts in your diet. Omega-3s help reduce inflammation.
