Dolo 250 Suspension 60ml

Dolo 250 Suspension 60ml is used for providing pediatric care from fever and pain. The formulation containing Paracetamol 250mg, is designed to provide effective relief from fever and mild to moderate pain in children. It is commonly used to manage fever caused by infections, colds, or vaccinations, as well as pain from teething, headaches, sore throat, and minor injuries. The liquid suspension form makes it easy to administer and is gentle on the stomach, making it a preferred choice for young children. Dolo 250 Suspension is doctor-recommended and should be used strictly as per the prescribed dosage to ensure safe and effective results.

• Paracetamol (Acetaminophen): It is a commonly used antipyretic (which lowers high body temperature) and analgesic (which relieves pain). It is frequently used to manage high body temperature, flu, colds, toothaches, headaches, and muscle soreness. Paracetamol works by inhibiting pain signals and lowering the brain's synthesis of chemicals that produce fever. Compared to other painkillers, it is usually easier on the stomach, but to manage liver damage, it should be used as directed. It is appropriate for both adults and children because it comes in a variety of forms, such as pills, syrups, and suspensions. 

• Manages High Body Temperature: It effectively lowers fever in children caused by infections, colds, flu, or post-vaccination reactions, helping them feel more comfortable.
   
• Pain Relief: It provides relief from mild to moderate pain, including headaches, toothaches, sore throat, and body aches due to common illnesses.
   
• Teething Pain Management: It helps ease discomfort and pain experienced by infants and young children during the teething process.
   
• Helps with Post-Vaccination Discomfort: It is commonly given after vaccinations to reduce mild fever and body pain that may occur as a reaction.

• For 1 - 3 yrs (10 - 14 kg), take 3 - 4 ml.
• For 3 - 5 yrs (14 - 20 kg), take 4 - 6 ml.
• For 5 - 7 yrs (20 - 25 kg), take 6 - 8 ml.
• For 7 - 9 yrs (25 - 32 kg), take 8 - 10 ml.
• For 9 - 12 yrs (32 - 45 kg), take 10 - 13.5 ml.
• 3-4 times a day or as directed by the physician 
• Minimum dosing interval is 4 hours.
• Maximum dose is 60mg per kg body weight, in divided doses in 24 hours.

Precautions:

• Taking paracetamol more than a daily dose may cause serious liver damage or allergic reactions (eg. Swelling of the face, Mouth and throat, Difficulty in breathing, Itching or rash)
