Dutas T Plus Capsule is used for managing the following conditions:

• Enlarged prostate gland, also known as Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia

• Difficulty in passing urine due to a blockage in the urinary tract

• Recurring urge to urinate, especially during night time

• Painful urination caused by an enlarged prostate gland

• Prolonged dribbling of urine, often associated with prostate issues

• Incomplete bladder emptying, often experienced by men with enlarged prostate gland

Here's how you should take Dutas T Plus Capsule:

• Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush or chew the capsule.

• Always take Dutas T Plus Capsule at the same time each day to maintain a consistent level of medicine in your body.

Dutas T Plus Capsule is taken orally.

Dutas T Plus Capsule contains two active components:

• Dutasteride (0.5 mg): This component works by inhibiting 5-alpha reductase, an enzyme responsible for converting testosterone into dihydrotestosterone (DHT). DHT is associated with prostate enlargement. By reducing the levels of DHT, dutasteride helps shrink the enlarged prostate and relieve the symptoms of BPH.

• Tamsulosin (0.4 mg): As an alpha-blocker, tamsulosin works by relaxing muscle around the bladder exit and prostate gland so urine is passed more easily. This action helps in alleviating urinary symptoms of BPH such as difficulty initiating the flow of urine, weak stream, and the need to urinate frequently or urgently.
