Fepanil 120 Banana Flavour Suspension 60ml is used for managing mild to moderate pain and high body temperature in children. It is a paracetamol-based solution. This suspension is available in a pleasant banana flavour, making it easier to administer to young children. Paracetamol, the active ingredient, works by inhibiting the production of prostaglandins, which are chemicals in the body that contribute to pain and high body temperature. Reducing these chemicals helps lower body temperature and alleviate pain. This suspension is specifically formulated for children 3 months and above and comes with clear dosage instructions to ensure safe and effective use. It is ideal for reducing symptoms of high body temperature, pain associated with teething, earaches, colds, and mild discomfort. • Paracetamol IP (120mg): Paracetamol, also known as acetaminophen, is a widely used medication known for its analgesic (pain-relieving) and antipyretic (high body temperature-reducing) properties. It works by inhibiting the activity of cyclooxygenase enzymes (COX), particularly COX-2, in the brain. This action reduces the production of prostaglandins, which are chemicals that play a key role in the sensation of pain and the regulation of body temperature. By lowering prostaglandin levels, paracetamol effectively reduces mild to moderate pain, such as headaches, muscle aches, and toothaches. It also helps manage high body temperature (high body temperature), making it particularly useful in medicating conditions like colds, flu, and other high body temperature-related illnesses.

• For children three months and above, 10-15mg/kg per dose up to a maximum of four times in 24 hours.
• Do not exceed the dose.
• Minimum 4 hours between two doses.
• Do not use it beyond three days without medical advice.
• For Children two to three months, a single dose of 10-15 mg/kg for symptomatic relief of reaction due to vaccination
• Shake the bottle well before each use. 
• Use the provided syringe or dropper to measure the appropriate dose per the instructions. 

• Seek medical advice if high body temperature persists after a second dose.
• For other indications, use only under medical advice. Paracetamol overdose may be injurious to the liver.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.
• Protect from direct sunlight.
• Keep the bottle tightly closed.
• It should not be used with other Paracetamol-containing products.
• Always administer Fepanil-120 mg Oral Suspension as directed by a physician.
