Flotral D Tablet is used for managing the following health conditions:

• Alleviation of symptoms associated with enlarged prostate gland, also known as benign prostatic hyperplasia

• Improvement of urine flow by relaxing the smooth muscles in the prostate and bladder neck

• Reduction in the size of an enlarged prostate gland by decreasing the production of a hormone called dihydrotestosterone that contributes to prostate growth

To ensure you use Flotral D Tablet correctly, follow these simple steps:

• Always swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not chew, crush, or open the tablet.

• Make sure to take your medicine immediately after the same meal each day to maintain its efficiency.

• Continue taking this medicine regularly, even if you notice an improvement in your symptoms.

• Consult your doctor before changing or stopping your dosage.

Flotral D Tablet is taken orally.

Flotral D Tablet contains two active ingredients that work together:

• Alfuzosin (10 mg): This component acts as an alpha-1 adrenergic blocker. It works on the smooth muscles found in the prostate and bladder neck, leading to their relaxation. As a result, this process improves urine flow and reduces discomfort associated with urinary retention.

• Dutasteride (0.5 mg): As a 5-alpha reductase inhibitor, dutasteride targets an enzyme responsible for converting testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT).
