Foligem Tablet is used for the following:

• Managing folic acid deficiency anaemia

• Preventing nutritional deficiencies during pregnancy

• Supporting nutritional needs during breastfeeding

• Supporting recovery after surgery

• Handling conditions of malabsorption

While taking Foligem Tablet, please follow these guidelines:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• It is advisable to take the tablet one hour before a meal.

• Avoid consuming tea or coffee alongside this medicine as they can hinder the absorption of folic acid.

• Do not take more than the recommended dose unless your doctor advises you to do so.

Foligem Tablet is taken orally.

Foligem Tablet contains Folic Acid (5 mg), which has several actions in your body:

• DNA and Amino Acid Synthesis: Folic acid aids in the production of DNA and amino acids. These are vital components in your body that play a crucial role in cell division and growth.
