Hyperneb 3% Respules is used for the following:

• Helping manage the drying of mucus in the bronchus

• Assisting in short-term fluid replacement

• Dealing with hypovolemia resulting from dehydration or injury

• Restoring salt and electrolyte balance in the body

• Inducing sputum production to aid mucus clearance

• Managing respiratory conditions like bronchitis, cystic fibrosis, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)

Follow these instructions while using Hyperneb 3% Respules:

• Ensure you have a nebuliser at hand for this medicine.

• Twist off the top of the respule carefully.

• Squeeze all the liquid into the nebuliser's container.

• Use the solution immediately to prevent it from losing its effectiveness.

• Remember not to inject or swallow this medicine; it's meant for inhalation only.

Hyperneb 3% Respules contain Sodium Chloride (3%). This active ingredient has the following actions on the body:

• Osmolarity Maintenance: Sodium chloride is a key component of extracellular fluid and maintains the osmolarity (concentration) of cells. This balance helps cells function properly.

• Mucus Hydration: When inhaled via a nebuliser, the hypertonic saline solution of sodium chloride creates an osmotic gradient. This draws water into the airways, hydrating thick mucus and making it easier to clear from the respiratory tract.

• Fluid Replacement: In cases of dehydration or injury leading to hypovolemia (decreased blood plasma volume), sodium chloride helps restore salt and electrolyte levels in the body.

• Store Hyperneb 3% Respules at standard room temperature not exceeding 30°C.

• Protect from direct sunlight and excessive moisture.

• Keep it out of sight and reach of children to prevent accidental ingestion or misuse.
