Hypersol-5 Eye Drops are used for the following:

• Providing temporary relief from corneal edema, a condition where the cornea becomes swollen due to excess fluid.

• Assisting in the healing process post eye injuries or surgeries by reducing fluid accumulation in the cornea.

• Managing discomfort and irritation caused due to swelling in the cornea.

• Improving blurred vision associated with corneal edema by restoring its transparency and thickness.

Here's how you should use Hypersol-5 Eye Drops:

• Ensure your hands are clean before using this medicine.

• Tilt your head back, look up, and gently pull down your lower eyelid to form a small pouch.

• Put the prescribed number of drops into your eye.

• Press gently on the inner corner of your eye for a minute or two to keep the medicine from draining out.

• Wait for at least five minutes if you need to use other eye drops.

• Remember to throw away the bottle four weeks after opening it. Always consult your doctor for precise instructions concerning usage.

Hypersol-5 Eye Drops consist of two active ingredients:

• Sodium Chloride (5%): This sterile salt solution has a higher concentration than what's naturally present in tears and eye fluids. It works by creating an osmotic gradient on the surface of your eyes. This process draws out fluid from the swollen cornea via osmosis which reduces edema, restoring corneal transparency and thickness.

• Phenyl Mercuric Nitrate (0.001%): This component is added as a preservative to prevent microbial growth in the eye drops ensuring that the solution remains sterile during usage. It doesn't have any direct therapeutic action on the cornea.

• Store Hypersol-5 Eye Drops below 30°C, in a cool, dry place.
