Logidruf-S Solution is used for managing the following skin conditions:

• Providing relief from itching, redness, flaking, and scaling in plaque psoriasis.

• Reducing flaking, scaling, and itching associated with seborrhoeic dermatitis and dandruff on the scalp.

• Offering symptomatic relief from chronic, pruritic, and inflammatory dermatoses such as eczema and dermatitis.

• Assisting in the removal of excess keratin in hyperkeratotic disorders like corns, calluses, and ichthyoses.

Follow these steps while using the Logidruf-S Solution:

• Shake the bottle well before each use.

• Apply a few drops to the affected areas using the nozzle applicator.

• Massage gently into the skin or scalp to distribute evenly.

• Leave it on for 5–10 minutes before rinsing it off thoroughly with water.

• Repeat this application 2-3 times weekly or as directed by your doctor.

Logidruf-S Solution is applied topically.

Logidruf-S Solution comprises two active ingredients:

• Coal Tar (4.25%): This substance helps control the fast growth of skin cells, a common issue seen in psoriasis. It acts as a keratoplastic agent, which means it regulates the growth and differentiation of skin cells. Coal tar also offers mild anti-inflammatory and anti-itching benefits to alleviate discomfort.

• Salicylic Acid (2%): This ingredient is a beta-hydroxy acid known for its keratolytic properties—that is, its ability to break down the outer layer of skin, enabling dry, scaly patches to shed more easily. Salicylic acid also exhibits mild anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial effects. In Logidruf-S Solution, it aids in increasing the penetration of coal tar into the skin.

• Store Logidruf-S Solution below 25 °C to maintain its efficacy.

• Keep it in a tightly closed container, shielded from direct sunlight, and do not freeze.

• Always keep this medicine out of the reach of children.

• Check the expiry date before use; do not use after the expiration date.

• If you are managing psoriasis with Logidruf-S Solution, avoid consuming alcohol, as it can trigger flare-ups and reduce the effectiveness of your medication.

• For seborrhoeic dermatitis, try to reduce stress levels, as it can exacerbate the condition. Regular exercise and relaxation techniques can be beneficial.
