Lunax 1 % Cream 10 GM is used to treat fungal infections of the skin, including athlete's foot (tinea pedis), which causes itching and peeling between the toes, jock itch (tinea cruris), a red, itchy rash in warm and moist areas, and ringworm (tinea corporis), a contagious infection that appears as a circular rash on the skin.

Using Lunax 1 % Cream 10 GM correctly is important for effective management of fungal infections. Follow these instructions:

1. Ensure that the affected skin area is clean and dry before applying the cream.
2. Apply a thin layer of the cream to the infected area once a day.
3. Rub it gently into your skin.

• Disrupts Fungal Cell Membranes: By blocking lanosterol demethylase, luliconazole disrupts the production of ergosterol. This leads to an accumulation of other sterols that cause disruption in the fungal cell membranes, effectively inhibiting their growth.
• Broad Spectrum Activity: Luliconazole exhibits broad-spectrum activity against a wide range of fungi, including dermatophytes (which cause common skin infections), yeasts, and dimorphic fungi (which can exist in two different forms).

1. Store Lunax 1 % Cream 10 GM in a cool, dry place where the temperature stays between 20°C and 25°C.
2. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight or extreme heat.
3. Ensure the tube is tightly sealed after each use to prevent air exposure.
4. Always keep this medication out of the reach of children.
5. Use the cream before its expiry date for it to remain effective.
