Monticope Kid Tablet is used for managing the following health conditions:

• Allergies: Monticope Kid Tablet helps relieve symptoms caused by hay fever or various allergies, such as sneezing, runny nose, and allergic skin conditions.
• Hay Fever: This tablet effectively manages symptoms associated with hay fever, including sneezing, itching, watery eyes, and congestion.
• Allergic Rhinitis: This tablet is used to alleviate common symptoms of allergic rhinitis like a runny or stuffy nose, as well as sneezing.
• Allergic Skin Conditions: This tablet helps in managing allergic skin conditions characterised by itching, rash, and swelling caused by allergies.
• Nasal Congestion: This tablet provides relief from nasal congestion caused by allergies or other respiratory conditions.
• Asthma: Monticope Kid Tablet is used to manage the symptoms of asthma, which include coughing, wheezing, and difficulty breathing. It is prescribed as a maintenance therapy and relieves symptoms in acute asthma exacerbations.
• Chronic Urticaria: This tablet is also used to treat chronic urticaria, a skin rash that causes red, itchy welts.

To ensure your child gets the maximum benefit from Monticope Kid Tablet, follow these simple steps:

• Give your child this medicine with a glass of water.
• Make sure your child swallows the entire tablet without chewing or crushing it.
• Do not give more than the recommended dose to your child without consulting their doctor.

Monticope Kid Tablet is given orally.

Monticope Kid Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Levocetirizine (2.5 mg): This is a type of antihistamine that works by blocking a naturally occurring substance in your body, called histamine, which is responsible for many allergy symptoms. By doing so, levocetirizine helps in reducing itching, runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing.
• Montelukast (4 mg): As a leukotriene receptor antagonist, montelukast operates by blocking substances in your body known as leukotrienes. Leukotrienes cause narrowing and swelling of airways in the lungs and also lead to allergy symptoms. Blocking them helps to ease breathing difficulties and control allergy-induced asthma.

• Store Monticope Kid Tablet in a dry place, ideally at a temperature not exceeding 30 degrees Celsius.
• Avoid exposure to excessive light or heat.
• Keep the medicine out of reach and sight of children.
