Movicol Orange Flavour Liquid 200ml is used for managing chronic constipation in adults, adolescents, and elderly individuals. It is an oral solution concentrate. It contains a combination of macrogol 3350 (polyethene glycol), sodium chloride, sodium bicarbonate, and potassium chloride. This formulation functions as an osmotic laxative by attracting water into the intestines, increasing stool volume, and making it softer and easier to pass. The pleasant orange flavour enhances palatability, ensuring ease of consumption. This Liquid does not irritate the bowel muscles, making it suitable for long-term use. • This product must be diluted before use.
• For adults and children aged 7 to 11, take 25 ml of MOVICOL. The Liquid concentrate should be measured using the cup provided. Add water to make the solution up to the 125-millilitre mark. This 125-millilitre diluted solution is to be consumed fully simultaneously.
• For children aged 2 to 6, take 12.5 ml of MOVICOL. The liquid concentrate should be measured using the cup provided. Add water to make the solution up to 62.5 ml. This 62.5 ml of diluted solution is to be consumed fully simultaneously.
• The diluted solution should be covered in a refrigerator (2-8° if required C). Throw away any solution not used within 24 hours.
• According to individual responses, adults, adolescents, and the elderly should take 25 ml diluted in 100 ml of water 1-3 times daily.
• For Children 2 to 6 years, the Usual starting daily dose is 12.5 ml diluted in 50 ml of water.
• For 7 to 11 years, Usual starting daily dose is 25 ml diluted in 100 ml of water.
• Use as directed by the physician.
• Do not exceed the maximum daily dose.
