Here's how you should use Onak SR Lotion:

• Shake the bottle well before each use.

• Gently massage until fully absorbed. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, mucous membranes, and broken skin.

Onak SR Lotion is a combination medicine that contains two active ingredients:

• Sulphur (5%): As a keratolytic agent, Sulphur aids in softening and removing the stratum corneum, which is the outermost layer of our skin. It also inhibits the growth of Propionibacterium acnes, a bacterium involved in acne development.

• Resorcinol (5%): This phenolic compound disrupts the keratin structure when applied topically on the skin. Keratin is a protein that forms part of our skin structure. By disrupting its structure, resorcinol loosens and helps shed scaly skin.

These ingredients work in synergy to manage acne and other hyperkeratotic skin disorders. The lotion's keratolytic action facilitates the removal of excess dead skin cells, unblocks pores, and reduces the formation of comedones. Its antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties control P. acnes growth and reduce associated inflammation and lesions.
