Here's how to use Proxym Gel:

• Always ensure that the area where you intend to apply the gel is clean and dry.

• After application, wash your hands thoroughly to prevent accidental contact with eyes or other sensitive areas.

Proxym Gel contains several active ingredients that work together to manage pain:

• Etodolac (5%): This nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medicine (NSAID) reduces pain and inflammation by blocking COX enzymes that produce substances called pro-inflammatory prostaglandins.

• Camphor (4%): Camphor creates a cooling then warming effect on your skin. It acts as a mild local anaesthetic and an antimicrobial agent while enhancing skin penetration of other ingredients.

• Menthol (10%): Acting as a counterirritant, menthol creates a cooling and then warming sensation on the skin, which distracts from pain signals. It also causes the widening of blood vessels, enhancing the absorption of other ingredients.

• Methyl Salicylate (5%): Another counterirritant that produces a warming effect on the skin. It also has some pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory benefits due to its belonging to the salicylate class of medicines.

• Linseed Oil (3%): Known as flaxseed oil, it acts as an emollient and a vehicle for other ingredients in this topical formulation. The omega-3 fatty acids in linseed oil also provide some anti-inflammatory benefits.

• Store Proxym Gel at room temperature, ideally below 25°C.
