Redulid HB Capsule 10's are also used to treat anaemia in pregnant and lactating women. Anaemia is a disorder in which the body's red blood cells are insufficient to carry enough oxygen to all of the body's tissues. Redulid HB Capsule 10's contains three drugs: elemental iron, folic acid (a type of vitamin B9), and glycine (amino acid). Elemental iron and folic acid work in the body by promoting the formation of red blood cells (RBC) and haemoglobin (a protein). As a result, the body produces a enough amount of RBC to ensure that each tissue receives an acceptable supply of oxygen. Glycine is an amino acid that is used in the body to create proteins.
