• Skin cuts, burns, wounds and minor injuries: Silverex Ionic gel can be applied to minor cuts, burns and abrasions to help cleanse the affected area, prevent infection, and promote wound healing. It creates a protective barrier over the cut, reducing the risk of further damage.

This medication can also be applied to superficial wounds, such as scratches, blisters or scrapes, to help clean the wound, reduce the risk of infection, and support the healing process.

• Clean the wound before applying the gel.
• Apply a small amount of gel to the affected area.
• Gently massage the gel into your skin until it is completely absorbed.
• Cover the treated area with a bandage or dressing as directed by your doctor.
• If the product enters the eye, immediately wash your eye with cool, clean water.

• Silverex Ionic gel is a topical medication applied to the skin.

The medicine activity of ethanol and silver nitrate in Silverex Ionic gel is as follows: 

• Ethanol: Ethanol, also known as ethyl alcohol, exhibits antiseptic properties. It helps to disinfect and cleanse the skin by killing bacteria and fungi. The infection risk in cuts, burns, and skin injuries can also be reduced. Ethanol also exhibits a drying effect on the skin, which can be beneficial for wounds to heal properly. 
• Silver nitrate (0.20%): Silver nitrate releases silver ions in contact with body fluids or tissues. These silver ions have antimicrobial properties and can help inhibit the growth of bacteria and fungi on the skin. It also has mild anti-inflammatory properties, which can help reduce inflammation at the wound site. Pain, swelling, and redness associated with minor cuts, burns, or skin injuries can also be alleviated.

• Store this medicine at a temperature below 30 ºC.
• Protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep Silverex Ionic gel away from children.
• Do not use this gel after the expiry date has passed.

• Include fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and healthy fats. These provide essential vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants for tissue repair and immune function.
• Include good protein sources to your diet, such as lean meats, poultry, fish, eggs, legumes, and dairy products. You can also take plant-based protein sources like tofu. Protein is a building block for tissue repair. 
• Drinking adequate water to maintain hydration, which is essential for optimal wound healing.
• Avoid smoking and alcohol. Smoking can impair blood flow and reduce oxygen supply to the wound area, which can hinder the healing process. Alcohol consumption can also interfere with wound healing. 
• Practice good wound care. It is essential for optimal healing. Cleanse the wound with disinfectant, and apply the medication as your doctor advises.

• The prolonged use of this gel may cause hyponatremia (low blood sodium) and hypochloremia (low blood chloride level).
