Sinomet Nasal Spray 10ml

Sinomet Nasal Spray 10ml is used for managing nasal congestion caused by conditions like the common cold, allergic rhinitis, and sinusitis. It is a combination medication. It contains two active ingredients: Xylometazoline, a nasal decongestant, and Sorbitol, which helps moisturise and soothe the nasal passages. This combination provides both immediate relief from a blocked nose and addresses the discomfort of dry nasal membranes, ensuring easier breathing. Xylometazoline works by constricting the blood vessels in the nasal passages, reducing swelling and congestion. This helps clear the nose quickly, allowing for more comfortable breathing. Sorbitol acts as a humectant, helping retain moisture in the nose and managing dryness and irritation commonly associated with the use of decongestants. Together, these ingredients offer a balanced solution for nasal congestion relief while maintaining nasal moisture. This nasal spray is designed for easy and effective application with a spray delivery system.

• Xylometazoline Hydrochloride (0.1% w/v): Xylometazoline is a nasal decongestant that works by constricting the blood vessels in the nasal passages, reducing swelling and congestion. • Sorbitol Solution (2% w/v): Sorbitol is a sugar alcohol that acts as a humectant, helping retain moisture in the nasal passages. This helps manage the dryness and irritation that can occur when using decongestants like Xylometazoline. It provides a soothing effect, ensuring that the nose remains hydrated and comfortable during use.
   
• Other Ingredients: Benzalkonium Chloride (Preservative), Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose.

• Relieves Nasal Congestion: Sinomet Nasal Spray may help relieve nasal congestion caused by the common cold. It works by constricting the blood vessels in the nasal passages, reducing swelling, and clearing the airways for easier breathing.

• Wipe mucus away from the nose.
• Keep the head lower than the shoulders.
• Insert a dropper pipette a little way into each nostril and apply one to two drops.
• Keep the head still for a few minutes.
• Pull out the rubber teat slightly to facilitate administration.
• For adults & children over 12 years, two to three drops into each nostril once or more daily.

• Always follow the prescribed dosage and do not use it more frequently than directed.
• Do not use the product if you are allergic to any of its ingredients.
• Do not use the spray for more than 5-7 days to avoid rebound congestion.
• Consult a doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have a history of kidney or liver disease.
• Store below 30°C and protect from light. 
• Keep out of reach of children.
