The paediatric side can be converted into a traditional open bell by replacing the diaphragm with a non-chill rim. Its next-generation tubing offers enhanced durability, resisting damage from skin oils and alcohol while reducing the likelihood of stains. A small tunable diaphragm is ideal for paediatric, thin, or bandaged patients and for carotid assessments. The precision-machined stainless steel chest piece has a refined design with an open side indicator, while snap-tight ear tips provide a secure acoustic seal and a comfortable fit.
