Brutaflam 2x Stronger Gel is used in the following conditions 

• Musculoskeletal disorders
• Sprains and strains
• Knee pain/arthritis
• Low back pain

• Gently massage a very small amount of the gel onto the unbroken skin surrounding the affected area until it is absorbed, leaving minimal residue.
• Refrain from applying the gel to cuts, open wounds, or irritated skin regions.
• Try to avoid contact with the eyes, nose, mouth, genitals, or anus. If accidental contact occurs, rinse your eyes thoroughly with clean water.
• Avoid bathing or showering with hot water immediately before or after applying the gel.
• If any skin irritation develops at the application site, consult your doctor promptly.

Brutaflam 2x Stronger Gel contains the following components:

• Diclofenac sodium (2% w/w): It is an NSAID and acts by blocking the enzyme cyclooxygenase (COX), which is an important component in the arachidonic acid cascade. This action leads to a decrease in the production of prostaglandins, thromboxanes, and prostacyclin.
• Methyl salicylate (10% w/w): It is an anti-inflammatory medicine that works by inhibiting the COX enzyme. This enzyme helps decrease the production of prostaglandins, consequently blocking the inflammatory process and reducing pain. Additionally, it produces a rubefacient effect, causing the skin to redden due to the dilation of blood vessels, creating a comforting sensation of warmth. Moreover, methyl salicylate induces a counterirritant effect by irritating the sensory nerve endings, thereby changing the perception of pain in the muscles or joints served by these nerves.
• Menthol (5% w/w): It provides a cooling effect at the application site. When menthol is applied to the skin, it acts as a rubefacient, causing localised vasodilation. This leads to feelings of comfort and warmth. Additionally, menthol produces a counter-irritant effect by providing a cooling sensation and initially stimulating nociceptors before desensitising them.
• Benzyl alcohol (1% w/w): It is used as a preservative.

• This gel should be stored at room temperature, at 25°C.
• Please protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep away from children.
• Do not use this gel after the expiry date has passed.
