Fefol Z Capsule 15

Fefol-Z Capsule is commonly used for the following purposes:

• Mineral deficiencies: This capsule prevents and treats iron, folic acid, and zinc deficiencies. 
• Anaemia: This capsule reduces the risk of iron deficiency anaemia, especially during pregnancy and lactation
• Red blood cell production: This capsule supports the healthy production of red blood cells.
• Immunity: This capsule boosts the immune system and promoting overall health.
• Skin and hair: This capsule maintains healthy skin and hair.
• Nutritional support during pregnancy: This capsule provides essential vitamins and minerals, including folic acid, to support the increased nutritional requirements of both the mother and the developing foetus during pregnancy.

• Take the capsule with a glass of water.
• You may take it with or without food, as directed by your doctor.
• Do not crush or chew the capsule. Swallow it whole.
• If prescribed multiple capsules, divide the dosage evenly throughout the day.
• Complete the full course of treatment even if you start feeling better.

Fefol-Z Capsule is taken orally.

Fefol-Z Capsule contains the following components:

• Carbonyl iron (50 mg): It is a dietary supplement that helps in the prevention and treatment of iron deficiency anaemia. Iron has putative immune-enhancing, anticarcinogenic and cognition-enhancing activities.
• Folic acid (0.5 mg): Folic acid belongs to the vitamin family and changes into active forms in the body, helping in the production of red blood cells where they are needed.
• Zinc Sulphate (61.8 mg): It belongs to the class of minerals and supplements and stops excessive fluid secretion, improves the absorption of water and minerals in the intestines, helps the intestines heal faster, boosts enzyme levels in the intestines, and strengthens the immune system, making it better at fighting off infections.

• Store this medicine at room temperature (15-25ºC).
• Protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep Fefol-Z Capsule away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Pair iron-rich foods with vitamin C sources like citrus fruits, bell peppers, and strawberries. Vitamin C enhances iron absorption.
• Limit tea and coffee. These beverages can inhibit iron absorption. Avoid drinking them with iron-rich meals.
• Avoid calcium-rich foods with Iron. Calcium can interfere with iron absorption. Separate your calcium-rich foods, like dairy products, from iron-rich meals.
• Cook in cast iron. Cooking with cast-iron cookware can increase the iron content in your meals.

• Take Fefol-Z Capsule as directed by your doctor.
• Swallow the capsule whole with food for optimal absorption.
• Continue using Fefol-Z for the prescribed duration, even if you feel better.
• Include vitamin C-rich foods in your diet to enhance iron absorption.
• Inform your doctor about any existing medical conditions or medications.
• Avoid self-medication and consult a doctor for personalized advice.
