Golite Cream 30 GM

Golite Cream is used in the following conditions:

• Hyperpigmentation: Regular use of this cream on affected areas may help fade dark spots, melasma (brown patches on the face), and other forms of hyperpigmentation.
• Skin Lightening: The combination of ingredients in this cream work synergistically to promote skin lightening. These ingredients help reduce melanin production, leading to a gradual lightening of the skin over time. 
• Sun Protection: Sun exposure can exacerbate hyperpigmentation and cause other skin damage, including sunburn and premature ageing. This cream also provides sun protection, essential in preventing further damage and maintaining skin health.

• Cleanse your skin thoroughly with a mild cleanser before applying the cream.
• Apply a small amount of cream to the affected area.
• Gently massage the product into your skin until it is completely absorbed.
• If the product enters the eye, immediately wash your eye with cool, clean water.
• Before using Golite Cream, perform a patch test to check for allergic reactions or skin sensitivities.
• If you experience irritation after using the cream, stop using it immediately and consult your doctor.

Golite Cream is a topical medication applied to the skin. It should not be ingested orally or administered through any other route.

Golite Cream contains the following components:

• Pterowhite (0.04% W/W): It is a blend of plant extracts recognised for their brightening and skin-lightening effects. It is believed to inhibit melanin production, the pigment responsible for skin colouration. It may help reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation.
• Galanga Extract (0.20 W/W): Galanga extract is known for its antioxidant properties. It helps protect the skin from oxidative stress caused by free radicals, which can contribute to premature ageing. By neutralising free radicals, galanga extract may help maintain the overall health and radiance of the skin.
• Sabiwhite: Sabiwhite is derived from the turmeric plant and is known for its skin-lightening properties. It helps decrease melanin synthesis by inhibiting the activity of tyrosinase. It is an enzyme involved in melanin production. Thus, sabiwhite leads to a reduction in hyperpigmentation and the gradual lightening of the skin.
• Kojic Acid: It is a natural compound derived from aspergillus species of fungi. It is a well-known skin-lightening agent that works by inhibiting tyrosinase activity. By interfering with melanin production, kojic acid can help fade dark spots, melasma, and other hyperpigmentation forms, resulting in a more even skin tone.
• Licorice (40 % CA): Licorice extract contains compounds such as glabridin and liquiritin, which have skin-soothing and brightening properties. Glabridin inhibits tyrosinase activity and helps reduce melanin production, leading to a more even complexion. Licorice extract is also known for its anti-inflammatory properties, which can help calm irritated skin and improve overall skin health.
• Arbutin: It is a phenolic glycoside and is known for its skin-lightening properties and is often used in skincare products targeting hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone. It works by inhibiting the activity of tyrosinase, an enzyme involved in melanin production. It reduces dark spots and promotes an even complexion, contributing to the brightening effect of this cream.
• Micronized TiO2 (Titanium dioxide): It functions as a physical sunscreen ingredient, protecting against harmful UV rays by reflecting and scattering them away from the skin. TiO2 prevents sunburn and helps protect the skin from damage caused by UV radiation.

• Protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep Golite Cream away from children.
• Do not refrigerate.

• Wear a broad-spectrum sunscreen with a high SPF, seek shade during peak sun hours. Also wear protective clothing, such as hats and long sleeves, when exposed to the sun. It can help prevent the darkening of existing hyperpigmentation and protect against further sun damage.
• A diet high in antioxidants can support skin health. Antioxidant-rich foods like berries, leafy greens, and nuts can help combat oxidative stress and support skin health.
• Drink adequate water throughout the day to keep your skin hydrated and supple.
• Minimise alcohol consumption and avoid smoking to promote healthier skin.
• Lack of sleep can disrupt skin health and contribute to unhealthy skin. Aim for 7-9 hours of sleep each night to allow your skin to repair and rejuvenate.
• Use gentle skincare products suitable for your skin type. Avoid harsh cleansers or excessive exfoliation, as they can further irritate and damage the skin. 
• In addition to a healthy lifestyle, topical treatments containing ingredients like vitamin C, niacinamide, retinoids, or alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) may help with hyperpigmentation, skin lightening, and promoting an even skin tone.
