• Camphor (Karpoora): Camphor helps clear nasal and chest congestion by acting as a natural decongestant. It also helps balance the Kapha dosha, which is often associated with respiratory issues. Its warming effect soothes the respiratory tract and helps promote easier breathing.
   
• Celery (Ajamoda): Celery has warming properties that assist in clearing the airways and alleviating respiratory discomfort. Its natural compounds help reduce mucus buildup and improve airflow, making it easier to breathe.
   
• Coconut Oil: Coconut oil serves as the soothing base for Karpooradi Thailam, helping provide relief from cold and congestion symptoms. It moisturises and soothes the skin, helping ease respiratory issues while enhancing the effectiveness of the other ingredients.

• Take about 10 ml of Karpooradi Thailam in a bowl. Place the bowl in warm water and check the temperature before applying, especially for children.
• Rub generously on the chest, back, neck, and mildly along with the sinuses. Follow with warm steam inhalation or apply a hot compress.
• To make a compress, place a handful of mustard seeds in a muslin cloth and tie the ends to make a potli. Gently warm the potli over a dry pan until it becomes slightly warm.
• Check the temperature of the potli before applying. Place this warm compress over the sinuses, chest, back, and neck. 
• For even better results, rub Karpooradi Thailam on the sole to help reduce congestion at night and enjoy uninterrupted sleep.
