Kottakal Ayurveda Kunkumadi Tailamm is used for nourishing the skin. It may help to manage the premature greying of hair. Kunkumadi Tailam is one such preparation mentioned in the classical Ayurvedic text Ashtangahridayam consisting of many precious ingredients. This oil is an Ayurvedic oil that has been in use for several centuries. Regular use of this oil may help to manage healthy skin. Kunkumdaitailam may help to improve complexion and manage natural skin colour, sun tan, and patchy skin.

• Kunkuma (Crocus sativus): The dried stigmas of saffron are used in the preparation of this oil. It is anti-oxidant, anti-bacterial, and anti-inflammatory and helps to fight acne and pigmentation. It may improve the colour of the skin. The chemical composition of saffron is moisture, protein, fat, minerals, mainly calcium, phosphorous, potassium, sodium, zinc and manganese in small quantities, crude fibre, and carbohydrates. The medicinal properties of saffron are due to the presence of phytochemicals crocin, picrocrocin and safranal.
   
• Tailam(Sesamum indicum): Sesame oil is beneficial for skin health and manages the colour of the skin. It contains antioxidants, reduces cell damage, moisturises the skin, promotes regeneration of skin and has anti-ageing properties.
   
• Usira (Vetiveria zizanioides): Vetiver may help moisturise the skin, has anti-ageing properties, induce the growth of new cells, reduce scars and blemishes, manage acne marks, and provide cooling to the body.
   
• Kaliya (Santalum album) (sub.): Sandalwood helps nourish the skin. It has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties that may help fight against free radicals. It may also reduce dryness and moisture in the skin and give it a cooling effect.
   
• Laksha (Laccifer lacca): Lac may help to improve the colour of skin and manage mild symptoms related to skin diseases. It is an anti-inflammatory and anti-pruritic ingredient.
   
• Other Ingredients:  Yashtyahva (Glycyrrhiza glabra), Nyagrodha (Ficus benghalensis), Padmaka (Prunus cerasoides), Padmakesara (Nelumbo nucifera), Nilolpala (Monochoria vaginalis), Manjishtha (Rubia cordifolia), Patanga (Caesalpinia sappan), Yashtimadhu (Glycyrrhiza glabra), and Ajakshira (Goat's milk)

• Take a few drops of Kunkumaditailam on your fingertips and apply it over your face. 
• Massage gently, and leave it for half an hour.
