Nestle Lactogen 1 Refill Powder 400gm is used for supporting the overall well-being of infants. It is a spray-dried infant formula designed for infants from birth when they are not breastfed or are exclusively top-fed. It contains the probiotic L. reuteri which may help support gut health. This formula provides essential nutrients to support your baby's growth and development during the early stages of life. Infant Formula Powder contains Whey Protein. Proteins are the primary structural and functional components of every living cell. Whey protein is a component of milk which are easy to digest.

• Demineralised Whey: Demineralised whey is a by-product of whey protein that has been treated to remove most of its minerals. It is commonly used in infant formulas and nutritional products due to its easily digestible nature. 
   
• Probiotic (Limosilactobacillus reuteri DSM 17938): Limosilactobacillus reuteri DSM 17938 is a beneficial probiotic strain that may support gut health. It is naturally found in the human gastrointestinal tract and can contribute to maintaining a balanced microbiome. This probiotic helps promote the growth of healthy bacteria in the digestive system which plays an essential role in overall well-being.

Preparing the Feeding Bottle

• Wash the bottle, teat, ring and cap thoroughly in hot, soapy water.
• Sterilize the bottle, teat, ring and cap in boiling water for 5 minutes.
• Allow to cool before filling.

Preparing the Feed

• Boil water for 5 minutes and allow to cool to a lukewarm temperature (about 37°C).
• Use only the enclosed measuring scoop.
• Fill the bottle with lukewarm water as per the feeding table.
• Add the required number of scoops of powder to the bottle. (4.6g per scoop)
• Close the bottle and shake well until the powder is completely dissolved.
• Check the temperature of the feed by dropping a few drops on your inner wrist. It should feel comfortably warm.

• Unboiled water, unboiled utensils or incorrect dilution can make your baby ill and incorrect storage, handling, preparation and feeding can potentially lead to adverse effects on the health of your baby.
• On opening, transfer the contents of the pack along with the pouch into a clean airtight container.  
• After each use, replace the lid tightly and store it in a cool, dry and hygienic place.
• Immediately follow the instructions exactly. 
• Boiled and cooled water shall be used to prepare this product and any leftover product must be discarded to reduce the risk of infection. 
• Always hold the baby while feeding. Leaving the baby unattended may cause choking. Infant milk substitutes shall be used only on the advice of a health worker as to the need for its use and the proper method of its use. 
• Infant milk substitute is not the sole source of nourishment of an infant.  

Warning/Caution:

• Do not use fewer scoops than directed since diluted feeding will not provide the adequate nutrients needed by your infant. 
• Do not use more scoops than directed since concentrated feed will not provide the water needed by your infant's body. 
• Use only the enclosed scoop. 
• Do not change proportions without medical advice. 
• Retain the feeding label/instructions given on this pack. 
• Ensure the enclosed scoop is washed and dried thoroughly before use. 
• After opening use the contents within 3 weeks or the use-by date whichever is earlier.
