New Socril Capsule 15

New Socril Capsule is used for the following:

• Prevention and management of iron deficiency anaemia

• Addressing folate deficiency anaemia

• Fulfilling increased iron and folate requirements during pregnancy and lactation

• Improvement of blood parameters such as haemoglobin and red blood cell count

• Supporting normal growth and development

Here's how you should take New Socril Capsule:

• Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush or chew the capsule.

• Take the capsule on an empty stomach, preferably one hour before or two hours after meals.

• If you experience any discomfort in your stomach, you can take the capsule with food.

• Always follow your doctor's advice regarding the dosage and duration of use.

New Socril Capsule is taken orally.

New Socril Capsule contains three active ingredients:

• Elemental Iron (30 mg): Iron plays a crucial role in the body as it is a key component of haemoglobin, a protein in red blood cells that carries oxygen to different tissues. Supplemental iron corrects an iron deficiency, replenishing the body's iron stores and facilitating the formation of new red blood cells.

• Folic Acid (250 mcg): As a Bvitamin, folic acid is necessary for DNA synthesis, red blood cell production, and fetal growth and development. Supplemental folic acid corrects a folate deficiency and supports normal red blood cell production when taken along with iron.

• Glycine (10 mg): Glycine is an amino acid that serves as a building block for proteins and plays a role in synthesising heme, an ironcontaining compound in haemoglobin. Supplemental glycine ensures its availability for these key functions and enhances the absorption and utilisation of both iron and folate.

• Store your New Socril Capsule in a cool, dry place, ideally at room temperature and not exceeding 25°C.

• Keep the medicine away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture.

• Make certain it's kept safely out of reach of children.

• Always remember to check the expiry date and use the medicine before it expires.

• Include iron rich foods such as leafy green vegetables, meat, beans, and nuts in your diet. These can help manage iron deficiency anaemia which New Socril Capsule is often used for.

• If you're pregnant or breastfeeding, follow a balanced diet rich in folic acid like fruits, green vegetables, and whole grains. This can support the increased folate requirements managed by this medicine.
