Here's how to give Raricap Drops to your child:

Raricap Drops contains two active ingredients:

• Ferrous Calcium Citrate (10 mg): This ingredient breaks down into free iron and calcium citrate in your child's gastrointestinal tract upon oral intake. The free iron is absorbed by the cells lining the duodenum and upper jejunum of your child's intestines. Once inside these cells, iron either gets stored as ferritin or is released into the bloodstream to bind with transferrin. This transferrin-bound iron then travels to various parts of the body like the liver, spleen, and bone marrow where it plays a crucial role in making new red blood cells and hemoglobin molecules.

• Folic Acid (0.3 mg): Folic acid helps form healthy red blood cells in collaboration with vitamin B12 and contributes to the production of DNA and RNA. After absorption, folic acid gets enzymatically reduced and methylated in the liver to become L-methylfolate - its active form which aids in DNA synthesis, amino acid metabolism, cell division, growth, and red blood cell maturation.
