Saibol Skin Ointment is used for the following:

• Managing skin-related irritation such as cuts and cracks

• Alleviating itching caused by various skin conditions

• Controlling scabies, a contagious skin disease caused by mites

• Reducing inflammation and aiding in the management of pimples

Apply Saibol Skin Ointment as suggested below:

• Ensure that the affected skin area is clean and dry prior to application.

• Use mild soap and water to cleanse the area, and pat dry with a clean towel.

• Apply a thin layer of ointment onto the affected skin using your fingertip or a clean cotton swab.

• The amount of ointment required will depend on the size of the affected area.

• Gently massage the product into your skin, ensuring that it is completely covered with a thin layer.

• After application, wash your hands thoroughly to prevent infection from spreading.

Saibol Skin Ointment contains four active ingredients:

• Boric Acid (4%): This weak acid with antiseptic and antifungal properties helps maintain your skin's normal pH balance. It inhibits the growth of bacteria and fungi and soothes your skin by reducing inflammation.

• Salicylic Acid (2%): As a beta-hydroxy acid (BHA), salicylic acid acts as a keratolytic agent. It softens and dissolves the intercellular cement holding skin cells together, promoting the shedding of the outer layer of skin.

• Sulfacetamide (2%): This sulfonamide antibiotic inhibits bacterial growth by interfering with folic acid synthesis – an essential component for bacterial growth.

• Zinc Oxide (5%): An inorganic compound with astringent, antiseptic, and protective properties. When applied to your skin, it forms a barrier protecting against moisture, irritants, and friction while also reducing inflammation.

• Store Saibol Skin Ointment at normal room temperature, ideally between 15 to 25°C.

• Keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat.

• Make sure the container is tightly shut after use to avoid exposure to air and moisture.
