Siloderm Cream 20gm

Siloderm Cream is used in the following conditions:

• Itching, redness, and skin irritation
• Bed sores
• Dermatiris
• Minor skin infections, including cuts and abrasions
• Diaper rash

• Wash your hands thoroughly before and after using the cream.
• Carefully read the instructions on the label before applying the cream.
• Apply a small quantity of the cream to the affected area.
• Avoid getting the cream into your eyes, nose, or mouth.
• Use the cream under medical supervision and follow the recommendations of your doctor.

Siloderm Cream is applied topically.

Siloderm Cream consists of the following components:

• Calamine (1.5% w/w): It is classified as an anti-itch medication that works by causing a cooling sensation as it evaporates on the skin. It also has astringent properties, which help to dry oozing or weeping from minor skin irritation.
• Cetrimide (1.125% w/w): It has antiseptic, antibacterial, antifungal, and other antimicrobial actions. Cetrimide can be applied to the skin or mucous membrane to minimise or avoid the risk of infection. It also functions as a surfactant with cleansing properties, helping to disinfect the skin before surgery.
• Dimethicone (20% w/w): It is a skin protectant and forms a protective barrier on the skin's surface, helping to lock in moisture and prevent further skin irritation. 
• Zinc Oxide (7.5% w/w): It is a skin protectant and provides a physical barrier on the skin, acting as a protective layer. Zinc oxide helps by preventing further irritation and promoting the healing process.

• Store Siloderm Cream in the original container at room temperature (15-25ºC).
• Protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep it out of the reach of children.
• Do not use this cream after the expiry date has passed.

• Stay hydrated by drinking enough water to keep your skin moisturised.
• Maintain a balanced diet with fruits and vegetables for overall skin health.
• Limit or avoid foods that may trigger skin irritation if you have known sensitivities.
• Follow proper application techniques when using this cream as per instructions.
• Be cautious of environmental irritants, such as harsh soaps or detergents.
• Protect your skin from excessive sun exposure with sunscreen or protective clothing.
• Monitor for signs of allergies, such as redness or itching, and discontinue use if they occur.
• Resist scratching irritated skin to prevent worsening of the condition.
