U-Lac Cream is used for the management of the following:

• Ichthyosis: This refers to a group of inherited skin disorders causing dry, thickened, scaly skin.

• Xerosis: This is a condition characterised by abnormally dry skin resulting from reduced oil or sweat production, or due to environmental factors.

• Fissured feet: This condition presents as cracked, split skin on the heels or soles of the feet due to excessive dryness.

• Hyperkeratosis: This condition involves thickening of the outer layer of the skin due to an accumulation of keratin.

Use U-Lac Cream in the following way:

• Before applying, ensure that the affected skin area is clean and dry.

• Apply a thin layer of U-Lac Cream on the dry areas and massage gently until it's completely absorbed into your skin.

• Use this cream once or twice a day, or follow your doctor's instructions.

• For best results, include this cream as part of your daily skincare routine. Always consult your doctor for specific advice.

U-Lac Cream is applied topically.

U-Lac Cream consists of four active ingredients:

• Urea (10%): As a humectant and keratolytic agent, urea penetrates the outer layer of the skin where it absorbs and retains water. This action softens and hydrates the skin while facilitating the shedding of rough, flaky skin.

• Lactic Acid (5%): This alpha-hydroxy acid acts as a humectant and keratolytic agent. It increases skin pliability and resistance to cracking and fissuring by retaining moisture.

• Propylene Glycol (10%): Propylene glycol is a humectant that attracts and binds water from the environment and deeper layers of the skin. It enhances the penetration of other active ingredients into the skin.

• Liquid Paraffin (10%): Also known as mineral oil, it acts as an emollient and occlusive agent. It forms a thin film on the skin surface that helps reduce water loss from the skin.

• Store U-Lac Cream at room temperature below 25°C.

• Shield the cream from direct sunlight and heat.

• Avoid moisture and keep it in a dry place.

• Keep the cream out of children's reach.

• Keep your skin hydrated. Drink plenty of water daily to maintain skin moisture, especially if you have dry skin conditions like xerosis, ichthyosis, or fissured feet.

• Avoid harsh soaps or detergents that may strip away natural oils from your skin. Choose mild, moisturising soaps for regular use to prevent the worsening of dry skin conditions.
