• This combination medication is meant for adults and children aged 12 years and above.

Contraindications

• This medication is contraindicated in individuals with known hypersensitivity to any of the components. It should not be used by people with symptoms of appendicitis or those under a magnesium-restricted diet.

Other Medications to Avoid

• Aluminium Hydroxide + Magnesium Hydroxide (Milk Of Magnesia) + Simethicone + Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose may interact with quinolone antibiotics (such as ciprofloxacin, norfloxacin), tetracycline antibiotics (like doxycycline, minocycline) and antipsychotic medications (such as chlorpromazine).

Overdose and Missed Dose

• Overdose of this medication can lead to symptoms such as severe constipation or diarrhoea, muscle weakness, slow or irregular heartbeat, mental changes (like confusion), or severe stomach pain. In such cases, seek immediate medical attention.

• If you miss a scheduled dose, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule.

Management of Side Effects

Most side effects are temporary and generally harmless, and resolve when discontinuing this medicine. However, if you experience any severe side effects or worsening of any of the symptoms, please consult your doctor.

• To manage constipation, increase your intake of water and fibre-rich food.

• For managing diarrhoea, keeping yourself well hydrated is essential. Drink plenty of fluids to replace lost water.

Use in Driving and Operating Machinery

• This medication does not generally affect the ability to drive or operate machinery. However, if you feel dizzy or sleepy after taking this medication, avoid driving or operating heavy machinery.

Use in Pregnancy and Lactation

• This combination medicine should be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding only if clearly needed. It is advised to consult your doctor before using.

Caution in Other Conditions

• Patients with kidney disease, appendicitis, or sudden changes in bowel habits lasting over 2 weeks should exercise caution when using this medication.

Special Dietary and Lifestyle Recommendations

• Cutting down on foods that can increase stomach acid can help manage heartburn and acid indigestion. These include spicy foods, citrus fruits and juices, tomato products, and chocolate.

• Avoid lying down or going to bed soon after eating. Wait at least two hours after eating before lying down.
