Contraindications

• Beclometasone + Levosalbutamol is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to either beclometasone, levosalbutamol, or any component of the formulation.

• It is also contraindicated for primary treatment of status asthmaticus or other acute episodes of asthma requiring intensive measures.

Other Medications to Avoid

• This combination may interact with beta-blockers (such as propranolol), diuretics (like furosemide), cardiac glycosides (such as digoxin), monoamine oxidase inhibitors (like selegiline), tricyclic antidepressants (like amitriptyline), and other sympathomimetic agents (like pseudoephedrine).

Overdose and Missed Dose

• Overdosing on Beclometasone + Levosalbutamol can cause symptoms consistent with excessive beta-adrenergic stimulation such as seizures, angina, hypertension, hypotension, tachycardia, arrhythmias, nervousness, headache, tremor, dry mouth, palpitation, nausea, dizziness, fatigue, malaise, and insomnia. Hypokalemia may also occur.

• In case you forget to use this medicine, use it as soon as you remember. But avoid repeating the dose.

Most side effects are temporary and generally harmless and resolve when discontinuing this medicine. However, if you experience any severe side effects or worsening of any of the symptoms, please consult your doctor.

• Drinking plenty of water might help manage side effects like dry mouth or throat irritation.

Use in Driving and Operating Machinery

• Beclometasone + Levosalbutamol does not generally affect the ability to drive or operate machinery. However, if dizziness, nervousness, or other side effects impair these abilities, refrain from such activities.

• Beclometasone + Levosalbutamol falls under Pregnancy Category C. It should be used during pregnancy only if needed according to your doctor. It is unknown if it is excreted in breast milk. Consult your doctor before using this medicine while breastfeeding.

• Use caution in patients with cardiovascular disorders, convulsive disorders, diabetes, glaucoma, hyperthyroidism, hypokalemia, or sensitivity to sympathomimetic medicines.
