Contraindications

• Clobetasol Propionate + Gentamicin is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to either of the components.
• It is also contraindicated in patients with viral skin infections, fungal or mycobacterial skin infections, acne rosacea or vulgaris, perioral dermatitis, and perianal or genital pruritus.

Other Medications to Avoid

• This combination may interact with oral corticosteroids (such as prednisone), other aminoglycosides (like tobramycin) and other ototoxic or nephrotoxic medications (such as cisplatin or vancomycin).

Overdose and Missed Dose

• An overdose of Clobetasol Propionate + Gentamicin is unlikely as it is intended for external use only. Using the prescribed dosage is recommended to avoid any side effects.
• If you forget to apply this medicine, apply it as soon as you remember. But avoid repeating the dose to make up for a missed one.

Management of Side Effects
